I'll take that "you" and the threats of retaliation as impersonally directed. I'll also take the fact that one can imagine a dispute arising necessitating extra-tournament correction as an argument in favor of making a very simple rules change recognizing that a practice favored by some portion of the player base is not addressed at all in the rules. Avoiding disputes and resolving them efffectively is one purpose of a well-written rules code.
