Legal Moves Club: ++ - Directors?

Count me in.
It is an interesting question as to whether an agreement to play legal moves is enforceable by a director. I believe that in effect it can be if the director wishes to.
I believe that a director can ask the player whether they agreed to legal moves. The director can ask them if the play was illegal. The director can consider what he knows of the character/integrity of the players involved. The director can choose to inform a player who he believes has violated a legal moves agreement that in the interest of fair play, the move should be played legally. A director that does not wish to make such a decision can still tell the player that he is going to rule that the illegal play may be condoned, but that if it is condoned, the player should not bother coming to any future event run by said director. The director may rule that legal moves is agreed at the risk of the players and that he will not get involved in such a dispute - illegal move may be condoned as per official rules.
I'd be interested to hear from directors whether they would exercise their ruling latitude as a director and compel legal play if they believed two players had agreed to play legal moves.
