I think we need to get our back checkers moving. 13/10 seems too passive and leaving a blot on our 5 point or bar point seems too bold when gammon losses are painful and gammon wins don't matter. 13/11 24/23 doesn't actually let either back checker see daylight so I use the 2 to play 24/22. Then 24/23 seems better than 22/21 because it aims at the stripped 8 point and stays out of direct shot range of the 10-point builder.
