24x and 3x feels best to me. If White rolls a bad 6 from the bar, you'll have lots of ways to put two men up vs. a 2.5 point board. In the normal variation where White enters both with or without hitting, you'll be favored to hit on the 20 which should give you some kind of edge in the game.
