Please require clocks at future events

In Response To: Answering Chiva's Questions (Paul Weaver)

Bill Davis was one of the pioneers in introducing clocks to backgammon at his events. As a leading director and the organizer of the ABT, I certainly hope that Bill will continue to lead by example and make clocks mandatory in the Open and Masters events at all future ABT events that he runs.

Paul's letter was well intentioned, but I can see that it could easily be interpreted as criticism of a good director. Bill has always run some of the best events. I hope Bill will do the right thing regarding clocks regardless of how he might have read this.
