Regardless, I don't think polls matter here. Doing what's right and doing what's currently popular are not the same thing.

Poll 1: Should all tournament matches at the Open level be clocked?

Poll 2: Should tournament directors take proactive steps to ensure that the tournament runs on time and players get adequate sleep.

If this question was asked a few years ago, I can easily see popular opinion be a resounding NO for Poll 1 and a resounding YES for Poll 2. So what's right? What's right is having the vision to see that people will get comfortable playing with clocks, while they will never get comfortable with tournaments that run way late, and to have the courage to act upon that vision even if it may face some initial resistance.
