Giant versus average open player reworded

In Bill's original pool he used the words 'estimate the luck skill ratio'. My intent was to see how BGO readers would compare with the 260+ readers that responded to Bill's pool. Perhaps, I should have used the exact wording Bill used, but I think it was similar.
If my intent was not to compare the readers of BGO to the responders of the Chicago Point poll, realizing there is significant duplication in the two groups, I would have asked one of the following questions: How likely is the average Giant to beat an average open player in an 11 point match?; What are the average ELOs of Giants and of all open players?; How often will the Giant have less than average luck and win an 11 point match?.
It has been debated on this site how accurate ELO is in estimating a player's advantage over another because of style differences. While the points raised, mainly by MCG, are valid, I think in determining the advantage of a class of player over another class, the ELO calculators should be fairly accurate. If it is accurate that a group of Giant's with an average ELO of 2200 would win 57.3 % (XG ELO calculator) in an 11-point match against a group of open players with an average ELO of 2123, would if not be correct to assume that luck, on average, would decide the match 92.7% and skill 7.3%?
