Thanks to you and Tara for your suggestions. The huge search interval and WC settings didn't make much difference, though: XG still rated me WC (3.4) in a match where Gnu (2 ply) said I was Advanced (4.1), and Expert(5.1) in a match where Gnu said I was Intermediate(6.0). Maybe this is just an anomaly.

Is PR calibrated differently than ER, or meant to show something different than ER? I notice that a PR around 7 can qualify as Expert, whereas a similar ER is no better than Intermediate. A PR of 12 seems to be Intermediate, whereas an ER of 12 is Casual Player or Beginner.
