Some facts:

The Astros barely made playoffs as wildcard with 89 wins and chisox had 99 wins (second that year in MLB only to Cardinals who had 100). In round 1 of playoffs White Sox advanced with no losses, and Astros advanced with one loss. In round two of the playoffs White Sox advanced with 1 loss and Astros with 2 losses. In WS White Sox swept the Astros.

So I am curious how the White Sox were clearly inferior.

I don't dispute any comments made about the manager. I would have appreciated a warning though before having had to read such words.
