It does! as the Elo is determined by the formula and not the other way around.

The only question about the Elo formula is: Is it correctly modeling different match length?

Actual results from GammonSite show that it is very close (note that I use only results from players with 400 exp or more [like for the 37,000 11 pointer mentioned before])
