I have the same problem, and it is because we have Windows 7. I don't know of any quick fix so I just log the Grid in as administrator. I also run Safe Harbor Games as admin to avoid problems, though they keep fixing things so maybe we don't need to do that any more.

You will also have issues with Play65, which saves the games and matches somewhere in the fourth dimension to avoid the problem. You can find them by seaching for the handle of whatever opponent had the weirdest name, so there won't be any wrong turns in finding the files. You have to search the entire comp, not just files and folders. Then ^A ^X, go to your Harbor or Imported games file, ^V. It's a pain but at least you don't have to remember to run as admin to get the games saved...someplace.

I never thought I'd see an operating system that's more paranoid than I am on its default settings, but Windows 7 clearly is!
