Don't recall exactly but something like 4th and 6 or 7. Neil Rackers is their new kicker, has been in the league a while, beat out old kicker Kris Brown in preseason, Rackers supposedly has very strong leg with 55 yard career best.

Beautiful weather and no wind was ever mentioned -- for either dicrection -- in the game.

The Texans took a purposeful five yard delay of game penalty to the 39 and punted -- into the end zone, netting them 14 yards on the punt. The Redskins then drove back the other direction to the Texans 34 (same yardage).

Redskins Coach Shanahan -- w/ a rookie kicker w/ a lifetime best of 49 yards -- goes for the field goal. The guy makes it but Kubiak had called time out just before the snap. The guy missed the second try.

Texans drive back down and win with 36 yard field goal.

Possession and opportunity is paramount in a sudden death situation. You just don't punt from your opponent's 34. If you don't try the field goal, if nothing else, you go for the first down.
