Cube action in post coup classic position?

My race formula method is to use Ward with 2 point penalty per crossover. Accordingly, I recube. This is the exciting stuff of backgammon where my aggressive tendency leads to thrilling matches. Also, I am well aware that my opponent might pass this cube which is probably a mistake. The cube decision is probably close, but it is just too much fun to skip the opportunity to cube.
On another note, according to eXtreme Gammon, I am a strong expert player. Over the last six years, it is GammonOnline, GammonU, BackGammon Galore, and BGOnline which have been my primary sources of backgammon education. A few months ago, I joked that I may embarrass myself by answering a difficult post. Paul Weaver, being a perfect gentleman, told me that I should not have that attitude. His problems were very difficult challenges that he missed over the board. I’m good. But, I do make huge blunders frequently.
It would be contrary to the learning process of this forum, if I were to insult a player by saying his passive play of not cubing because he is scared of an eight cube is so weak that it says something about him as a person. I am obviously scolding a BGOnline member. At this forum, I never want to hear again some personal, spiteful insult. These are very difficult problems. The best of us can blunder with the extremely challenging backgammon game. Polite dissension creates a better learning environment.
