Agree with Neil that getting 8 on one possession is a parlay. And SF ended up being a video review away from not making the 2-point conversion.

The other feature is that if you score zero points, the other team (granted having to go 99 yards), can win (or at least go ahead) in regulation. By kicking the field goal they can only hope to tie.

Marginally on-topic: What's the penalty for pass interference in the end zone on a 2-point conversion? Seems like the regular rule would let defences basically interfere at will.
