In Response To: A third-roll decision you haven't faced before (Timothy Chow)

One reason I felt confident saying that this is a "decision you haven't faced before" is that I suspect that most readers of BGOnline rarely, if ever, play 24/21 24/20 with an opening 43 (other than at DMP, perhaps). I like playing it against people that I know or suspect are afraid to hit loose. With the 21, I wasn't sure what to play. I eventually decided to anchor because I figured that if one or the other play were a serious mistake, it would probably be hitting twice. GNU 4-ply says it's a dead heat. In retrospect I probably should have hit twice because my opponent was noticeably weaker than I.
