Gnubg 1-ply also redoubles after a fan. A rollout with 1-ply cube should get similar results as Neil's done with 3-ply cube, and save a lot of a time on slower machines.

About why one play was only rolled out 1293 times in storm's rollout, Philippe wrote: "This is a problem on multi-cores machines if you use more than one evaluation thread (Settings|Options|Other, default is as many threads as cores)." The problem also occurs when threads are not set = 1, on machines that do not support multiple threads.
