Tricky. PoH surely wins more gammons but loses more games than clearing the 4 point. Is the tradeoff worth it? Gammon price is close to normal. If you PoH and get hit back, you've still got good winning chances due to Black's crunched board, and of course you can't be gammoned. If you don't PoH then the gammon race looks close, so PoH should win noticeably more gammons when it works. Hard (for me) to assess but I would try PoH.
