My first thought was to run from the midpoint, waiting for the slowdown. But then i tried it step by step, defending a backgame. 1.Goal: Fix the proto-backgame into a real deep backgame by building a prime in front of the anchors. This mission is completed. 2.Goal: Kill his board. Make him crack. Measures: slow down with a)leaving blots, hoping to be hit, b)slotting the edge of the prime (but we have a full prime), and espacially known in a prime vs. prime fight defending a full prime: the dump or even the double dump (for an example, see http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/138/backgammon/problem-week-38-solution-644936/). So knowing this i tried at second the double dump. The old turd snowie smells funny, but is not dead. Rollout with predifined minirollout settings came up with stick's move at number 1. Time for Stick to write the Encyclopaedia of Backgammon Vol. 3: Backgames.
