Thanks for the RO, Neil. Here is data for 43D-44:
43D-44
Snowie .. [B R1 D2] 31 (ext in progress)
GnuBG .. [B R16 D20] 15
XG 3-ply [B R10 D11] 62
XG 4-ply [B D12 R14] 32*15GnuBG .. d[B R8 D24] 5
Key: B = Both (24/20(2) 13/9(2)), R = Run (20/16*(2)), D = Down (20/16* 13/9(2)). Error sizes are in thousandths.
Before the brackets, d = dmp; else assume money. After the brackets is the number of trials in thousands (rounded down). An asterisk repeats a number. For example, "[B D12 R14] 32*15" means that B is best and D is -.012 after 32000+ trials, and R is -.014 after 15000+ trials.
At gammon save, B is clearly best. At gammon go, D is clearly best.
I'm not sure about Gnu's d[B R8...] result (listed above). Would anyone like to confirm this with an XG (DMP) rollout?
