Hmm, on the first view it would give any player 8 plus 2 doubles instead of 4 plus 1 possibilities and same possibilities for the opponent that should take into account.

I don't think that it reduces strategic thinking. OK, But I see situations where a specific number might look very lucky and useful for one and maybe very bad for the other so he is faced to a problem which is not to master or the games become boring.

Think I just will try this out
