Here is one clear, definitive example of how the Jacoby Rule changes cube play: Every single position that is too good to double with the cube in the center is no longer too good to double if you play the Jacoby Rule. And it is quite possible to go from no double to too good after a joker or anti-joker and it is not a rare occurrence.
