I would start by playing 23/22(2). Our timing is too suspect to hang back on the ace and deuce points. Then I see several plans. There's the kamikaze play of 8/7* 3/2. There's the quiet 24/23(2), hoping that our timing is good enough for a 2-3 backgame. And there's 23/22 hoping to leap our fifth wheel out, accompanied by either 8/7* or 3/2.

Because our timing is poor, I'm inclined to go for the kamikaze play. It's hard to know if the bots will play the kamikaze variation optimally. Aggressively trying to get all our checkers sent back is probably not that bad a strategy here but I don't think the bot will do that even if it's right.
