I make the bar point here. We're still in good shape even if hit and we're not hit yet. We solve our major problem of 2 checkers back, link our checkers and put pressure on brown's outside points. I'd make this play even if the cube were in the middle since brown still has a take after a fan (after 3(2)). and even if we didn't have a blot on the 2. The extra gammons after 3(2) balance out for both sides.
