What is a weaker player? That needs a close view. Are you playing against Colonel Whitflag or against Fearless Freddie? In a long match you have time to see the cube handling. So you can cube earlier against a rock to win from wrong passes and against an agressive later to win from his wrong takes. And if you play DMP against a fish you can more liberate play a proto-backgame and go into full mode, because he cannot defend so good. I think, there are many ways. If you make for example a bold play, that looses to the smart bot plays, buit induces later several whoppers by your opponent, you have a net gain in equity. But how is this to measure? That is the problem.
