The spare on the 2 point can only come on the 1 point into play again. It is an almost killed checker. Since Danny and the evil prime forest we should know this. And by now, there is no other, nicer place on the 2 point for the spares on the 5 point to come in play again. But the place depends on the overall goal we have. Here we are trailing the race and have to hit eventually, to overcome this. So in the light of the overall picture, yes, put the checkers where they belong.
