Clear cube for money but ATS I would be worried about black's recube.
He doesn't need much to give it back, especially not when there is some chance for a gammon.
I think I would save myself the trouble of deciding what to do after a sequence like 51 (hit), 23 (hit back), 51 (24, 3?), RD, so I would not double.
