14/10 3/1 or 5/1 3/1. I am pretty sure that OTB I would try for a second checker, so 3/1, and then 14/10 as most efficient against a 61 joker. But the chances for picking up a second checker are not very good, so I could imagine that closing the ace is best.

Making the ace does have as a drawback that you'd get little value out of the cube; for that purpose fishing for another checker is better.
