Comparing 11/7 3/1 to closeout the former gains immediately if 11 or 12 is rolled from the bar. Note though that if you miss that shot and he cleans up the blot, a gap in his bearoff structure has been taken away and this race might come down to that. Also note that if you hit and he anchors up you still have work to do.

11/7 3/1 loses substantially if 16 is rolled from the bar. If 13 14 or 15 is rolled I also see some losses. If you cannot loose hit (20 rolls do not loose hit unless you break a point) it could be trouble right away.

Looks close, I think I would just closeout now.
