White to play D1

I see three possible plans.
1. Hold the prime, forcing Black to play 5's destructively. Either 8/6 7/5 or 8/6 3/2(2) looks possible; both are somewhat awkward.
2. Clear points. I think that clearing the 9 point with 9/8 9/6 is indicated even though it's the bar point that's in potential double-shot jeopardy; 7/6(2) 7/5 makes it too hard to clear both outer points safely.
3. Leave a blot, hoping to recirculate it to get better timing. One plays something like 9/6 7/6, or perhaps 8/6 7/6 3/2.
Option 3 is the QF play. It looks too risky to me here. Black's front position isn't that weak and there's definite danger of getting a blot stuck back there. The 1-4 backgame is not that strong and might fail of its own accord, so leaving blots seems to risk more than it potentially gains.
I'm not sure about holding the prime. Black's timing is pretty good, but not excellent; holding the prime makes double 5 a terrible roll for Black whereas it would otherwise be excellent, and in fact Black would frown at any 5.
Not being sure, I would probably just clear with 9/8 9/6, but I could believe that holding the prime is better.
