Itikawa is a strong Japanese backgammon player who is currently #64 on the Giants' List, which is quite an accomplishment for someone who has never played outside Japan. In reality, he is stronger than some voted into the top 32.

As I understand it, Itikawa was at one time a world-class player of the game known as othello. His nickname on GridGammon is othello. With a rating of 2010.95 at the moment, he is the second highest rated player on GG.
