I can't see any value at all to hitting here. He has return shots out the yingyang no matter how we play the 5, we don't gain a useful point in the process of hitting, and we don't even catch up in the race. Yuck!

I just play 16/8. This leaves us only one blot, and the blot in question is useful as either a builder or a slot, since the 9 point would be good to have here. This play is boring but drama is sometimes overrated.
