Question about Simborg PoTD

I realized after I posted that I shouldn't have said "gammon value"; what I had in mind is that gammons are sometimes less valuable on a 2 cube at -3 -3 because of the potential gammicidal recube. But, I guess this isn't enough to swing the decision here.
