In Response To: Congratulations! (Bill Riles)

@ Bill: It didn't seem to me like Chiva was taking a shot. He was just pointing out the lack of irony in you being the first to respond to Stick's post regarding Obama.

@ All: Though I have only had the pleasure of attending one of Chiva's events to date I must say from what I have seen and heard Chiva is a great tournament director. I thought the US Open in San Francisco this past January was run flawlessly (noting I didn't cash in any event). Does Chiva do everything that everyone wants, no. But what TD does? However, he does welcome and listen to all criticisms and continuously supports the BG community to his fullest. As Director of the Chicago Open over Memorial Day Weekend I am not ecstatic with his choice to run a tournament in San Francisco two weeks before my event. At the same time I have no ill will toward Chiva at all. I wish him the best of luck and hope that both of our tournaments draw well in future years. I ask everyone to support Chiva by making an effort to attend at least one of his events next year. I am sure you will very quickly appreciate what he does for the game and will enjoy his tournament. I very much hope he continues to run tournaments in the US for many, many years to come.
