"Hit The F***er"

I played in a chouette in 2000 at the Ace Point Club in New York. Wish it was still around. Small in terms of square feet or square meters. Atmosphere. An earlier era, before 9/11. Lots of people always passing through from out of town, other countries and other worlds. Unique accents you hear nowhere else in the country. Things were smoked late at night. Was very large in terms of action. They used to have some real games there for real stakes with real people who really did not know how to play backgammon. Lots of strong Danes hanging around the place sucking up a lot of $$ from weak Americans. I first met Francois Tardieu there. Some guy named Rasmussen played very strong backgammon. He moved back to Denmark and became a big-time famous rock star there.
One time I arrived in New York City and checked into my hotel. I called the Ace Point Club and asked, "Is Paul Weaver there?" The voice said, "No." I responded, "Well, I need to find him because he owes me a lot of money." Lourdes was smart enough to figure out who was calling.
I heard one guy there who was visiting from Alabama say in a consulting chouette, "Hit the f***er." A very concise command, seems like appropriate advice for this position.
