In Response To: Congratulations! (Joe Russell)

Thank you Joe and everyone else who responded here. And thanks to Chiva, Rob, and Elayne for a well-run tournament that stayed on schedule in all the divisions.

The extra day helped for accomplishing that, of course, and in the future players will have to decide whether they want the longer matches and smoother scheduling you get with a three-day event, or the shorter matches and more frequent snafus you can expect when the director has to fit the entire event into two days. They say "the customer is always right", but when the customer orders a unicorn it's unlikely to be delivered.

See you all at Chiva's US Open in January.
