But how about the game winning plan? Making the bar and just sitting there isn't enough. Just my opinion. With the bar you then have 7 checkers in the defense and only 8 in the offense. Even with the three checkers from the midpoint we have only 11 checkers for the offense. Blacks 5 prime is a rock of it's own, and there are another two checkers to spring. Without sufficient offense of your own, you just can run from the anchor. You will be snipered down. One point made in the front, bar or 5 point, and we are one point away from equalizing the block. So, damn the torpedos, full spead ahead!
