In Response To: Here's my 52S 41 to compare (just finished it) (neilkaz)

2O ' ' ' '5X '3X '1X '5O

1X '1X ' '5O '3O ' ' '4X

32Z-41 [U S7 H8 T12]

2O ' ' ' '5X '4X ' ' '5O

1X '1X ' '5O '3O ' ' '4X

52S-41 [T U6 H42 S60]

Thanks Claude and Neil, for the rollouts.

Below is money data. (Bot symbols: ~ Snowie, / GnuBG, < XG 3-ply, ^ XG 4-ply.)

32Z-41
[U S13 T17 H18] ~31
[U S1 H3 T11] /46**15
[U H10 T12 S14] <62
[U H1 S4 T9] ^46*7

52S-41
[T U6 H47 S60] ~31*5*
[T U15 H38] /5 (too few trials)
[T U1] <62
[T U8] ^46

From this data, I make agg (bot aggregate value) as captioned above:

32Z-41 [U S7 H8 T12]
52S-41 [T U6 H42 S60]

Volatile plays that deflect Opp's 10pt builder do better with 32Z-41 than with 52S-41 (where Opp has no 10pt builder). This compilation helps quantify the size of the effect.

Here is some GnuBG AtS data:

32Z-41
d[U H4 S6 T12] /5
s —
g[H S20] /15

52S-41
d[T U2] /10
s[T U5] /10
g[H T13] /5

Key: U = Up (24/20 24/21), T = sTack/Tower (13/8), S = Split (13/9 24/23), H = Hit (8/3*). Error sizes are in thousandths.

Before the brackets, d = dmp, s = (gammon) save, g = (gammon) go; else assume money. After the brackets, bot symbols are: ~ Snowie, / GnuBG, < XG 3-ply, ^ XG 4-ply. These are followed by the number of trials in thousands (rounded down), and an asterisk is a repeater.

For example, "[U S1 H3 T11] /46**15" means that U is best, S is -.001 and H is -.003 according to a GnuBG rollout after 46000+ trials, and T is -.011 after 15000+ trials.

Nack
