Although actually David, didn't you meet Paul Weaver during dinner break at one of the Illinois Backgammon Championships in the mid-90s, when Yamin was still in charge? Seems to me that you and I went out to dinner and found an interesting little Mexican restaurant in a strip mall on Algonquin Road - which we ended up calling by the name on the sign, "Mexican Food". No sooner did we walk in than we found Paul in there, enjoying a meal.

You were beside yourself in admiration to be in his presence. Anyway, Paul was very gracious to you for your fandom, as I recall.

The restaurant is still there the last time I drove by, although it's changed owners a few times.
