Why so much effort on the openings?

Thank you for your response. But can we really trust, if the difference is only 0.003? And next level we make 45.000 trials with xgroller+ instead of 3ply or 4ply? I think a book with the theme "common opening errors in the >0.02 range and the reasons behind" would be fine. If i gain this every time, this would be a lot, and perhaps to remember. And please, don't write only a series of articles about backgame RO. You have to write the "enceclopedia of backgammon vol. 3: The theory and research of backgames". And with a custom made engine (for example an intel serverboard, two xeon cpu with together 12 cores, a raid controller and 4 to 8 ssd in raid0) you can work with 100 gflops and more.
