Interesting indeed. Upon seeing this I think I'll go back to splitting.

I have been slotting for quite some time (unless when leading in a match), mostly because it leads to interesting games.

I think I am giving up too much by slotting and will probably only play it against a weak opponent.

Can we conclude that the split is best at gammon go?
