We agree and I doubt that this is close. If you don't close the board, 11 ruins your day. If you do close and then miss you may win anyhow, and can sometimes break the ace pt in the bearoff or perhaps the 2 pt, or blot on a high point to speed your bearoff if missed and to get a double shot if hit.

Close it for sure.
