Definition of "next"

A "next" is a move that is obvious enough that it requires no explanation
That's about right, I think.
If they are not easy to figure out or explain, then I wouldn't call them a "next".
Thinking about that is why I came up with the "N-roll" question. I know a 5-roll position redouble decision is a "next" because, simply, I know it's not a redouble. The explanation "because you win more points by waiting a roll" is pretty quick to say. But if I had no knowledge about the position, showing exactly how much more you win by waiting a roll is a bit more involved.
Is a 6- , 7- , 8-, N-roll initial double decision a "next"? It is, if you've read http://www.bkgm.com/rgb/rgb.cgi?view+1474
