Doubles means two per team

People should not be allowed to play doubles without a partner and those that do or just make all the moves without discussion..ie basically a pro player partnered with a silent kib, should only receive the ammount of time on their clock allowed for singles.

It is against the spirit of a doubles event to play without a partner, and I may be quoted in stating that I mean no offence to Ary or Chiva, but he wouldn't not be allowed to play alone in an event of this magnitude if I were running the event.

That being said, I very rarely will ever play doubles again. I might play with another top Giant or perhaps a more low key event if time permits and to teach a friend/student, but that will be a rare occurance. I play MUCH (maybe 1.5 to 2 PR) worse in a doubles setting than in a singles setting.
