Redouble

Tough one for me between rolling and doubling out. Would love to see some of the wizards calculate how many gammons White wins if playing on. I usually do it by trying to convert to EPCs pretending Black is bearing off to the six-point and then add something for the need to bear off a checker. But I have never taken the time to study how much should be added. And then there is the usual EPC-to-percentages problem :o) At the board I would convert the EPCs to rolls versus versus roll to get a rough estimate. I have White winning in the ballpark of 9-10% depending on the right percentages after a hit. With Woolsey's MET, the gammonvalue is a tiny bit higher than for money here. So if Black can win more than 20% gammons from here, she should roll.
I would double out, as I am not cool enough yet to completely ignore the upset of losing this game ;o)
