In Response To: French open -- Nationality Distribution (Gregg Cattanach)

.... which shows that backgammon can only be successfully expanding when there is a strong national body behind it (Denmark, Sweden, Japan, Turkey). Where there is no federation or weak and unactive federations (like in France), the decrease is pre-programmed.

I urge every player and every local TD in the USA to join the USBGF, in order to contribute to the growth and the rejuvenation of backgammon in one of the most important countries of the game. And around 150 members of USBGF are not reflecting it yet.

Most backgammon players in the US are seniors. Thatīs alarming...
