The implicit questions being, what are the alternatives to 20/13*, and can we believe that they are any better?

I definitely do not care for any tempo hit on 1 or the silent 10/3, and slotting the 5 point seems to lose more than it gains.

So what remains as the only plausible alternative to me is 11/6 10/8, minimizes shots when ahead in the race, keeps the checkers in front of the anchor and pointing at the 5 point and keeps my own anchor for safety. Could possibly be better, but would I play it? No, I'd still rather get my back men moving with a hit.
