It looks like no matter how the ace is played there will be 5/36 shots at the outfield blot. I like playing to the 23 because I don't wanna duplicate my 3's which could cover the ace, and step up with the straggler. And stepping up looks better in case white throws an akward double 5. Also in the case of a freak exchange of hits, I don't want my 4's duplicated (coming in on 21 pt vs. hitting 13-9) I'd go 24-23. But I guess the real question is what's the value of a direct cover for White's 3 pt.
