I don't classify this position as a backgame. Opp does hold two points in the homeboard, but they're the 5 and 4 points. A 5-4 game could still be a backgame, but here you have no prime, really (you have the 6-7-8 points with little prospects for extending it, even if that were best strategy, which is questionable), and are far from bearing in or breaking up your forward structure. It's surely not clear that Opp's best strategy is to wait for a late hit, the other main hallmark of a backgame, aside from possessing a double or triple anchor. Indeed, it's not clear that either side should play this as if backgame/anti-backgame is the best strategy, or the one likely to be dictated by the dice.

I'd call it a 5-4 holding game, if it needs a name.

I'd surely hope a bot rollout would produce a reasonable looking result, because (it looks to me) that if it doesn't here, there's a whole lot of positions where the bot would be equally suspect.
