Are you using the same old Word 2003 version that I am that apparently has trouble rendering HTML.

You can paste into a text editor and save with a .html extension and then it can be archived, edited, emailed, and viewed correctly in a browser, though if you open it in Word 2003, it will still be mangled. Apparently newer versions of Word get it right.
