If you really want to copy a document and make sure it looks good, take a screen shot, paste it into Microsoft paint, hit "select" so that you can outline only the portion you truly want to copy into your word doc, then after you have highlighted that portion, right click and hit "copy" and then you can past it (control/V) into the word doc and get exactly what you want. It's a couple of more steps but if the word doc is for an article or something permanent, or it is going to be put on a web site or into a power point, it's worth the extra step.

I have been doing it this way for years and I can't tell you how many compliments I get on my pasting skills!
